GetShot Passport helps you check and size passport and visa photo files. It does not review applications, issue documents, or guarantee acceptance. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Independent service, not a government body
GetShot Passport is not affiliated with any passport office, embassy, consulate, immigration authority or other government body. Government names and links appear only to identify and cite public requirements.
What the tool does
The tool helps you check a photo against published size, background and head-height requirements, crop and scale it, and export a print-ready file. All processing happens in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
No guarantee of acceptance
Only the issuing authority decides whether a photo and application are accepted. Requirements can change, and capture conditions, printers and reviewers vary. Automated checks reduce common mistakes but cannot guarantee that a photo will be accepted. Always confirm the current rules on the official government source linked on each page before you submit.
Follow the official rules
Some authorities prohibit software or AI edits, and some require an in-person commercial photographer (for example, Canada). Where that applies, use GetShot Passport only as a requirements checklist and follow the official process. Do not submit an edited photo where edits are not permitted.
Acceptable use
- You must have the right to use the images you select, and they must be genuine portrait photos of the person applying.
- Do not upload adult, sexual, pornographic or otherwise NSFW imagery. Such uploads are automatically detected and rejected on your device.
- The service is only for preparing passport, visa and ID photos. Do not use it to create face-swaps, deepfakes, or any manipulation of another person’s likeness.
- Do not use the service to impersonate another person, create fraudulent documents, or break any applicable law.
- Review the final crop, colour, dimensions and print scale before printing or submitting.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetShot Passport is not liable for rejected applications, missed deadlines, printing costs, or any other loss arising from use of the tool.

This website is operated under the name GetShot Passport, an independent passport-photo preparation tool available at getshotai.com. GetShot Passport is the operator of the service for the purposes of these terms and can be reached at support@getshotai.com.
